Stephen Soucy is an Ovation Award-winning producer of plays and musicals on Broadway, in Los Angeles, and London's West End.

Current and upcoming productions include Romy and Michele The Musical based on the cult film Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, directed by Kristin Hanggi, Life of Pi, based on Yann Martel's best-selling novel, directed by Max Webster, and Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist, directed by Drew McOnie.

ROMY AND MICHELE THE MUSICAL

Stephen Soucy is a managing producer on Romy and Michele The Musical with Barry Kemp. Laurence Mark and Peter Schneider. Romy and Michele The Musical features a creative team including Rock of Ages' director Kristin Hanggi, scenic design from Scott Pask, and a book by the film's screenwriter, Robin Schiff. With an all new '80s and '90s pop/rock-inspired score from Gwendolyn Sanford and Brandon Jay, composers of Orange is the New Black, Romy and Michele The Musical is the coolest thing since the invention of Post-its®.

LIFE OF PI

Stephen Soucy is an investor on LIFE OF PI with Catherine Schreiber’s producing team. The Olivier Award-winning West End hit, Life of Pi is an epic tale of adventure that is “giving new life to Broadway” (The Today Show). THE BOYS IN THE BAND

Stephen Soucy was an investor in the groundbreaking comic drama The Boys in the Band. Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, TBITB appeared on Broadway for the first time ever in a strictly limited 15-week engagement in spring 2018. The cast included four-time Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Emmy nominee Zachary Quinto (Star TrekAmerican Horror Story), Golden Globe Award winner Matt Bomer (The Normal HeartWhite CollarMagic Mike) and two-time Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells (The Book of MormonGirls), as well as Charlie Carver, Robin De Jesús, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington and Tuc Watkins. The production will be directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (The HumansOther Desert CitiesWicked). The Boys in the Band was produced by Ryan Murphy (Glee, FeudAmerican Horror Story) and David Stone (WickedNext to NormalThe Vagina Monologues).

PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT

Based on the 1994 popular movie of the same name, Priscilla Queen of the Desert: The Musical follows the journey of two drag queens, Tick and Adam, and a transgender woman, Bernadette, as they travel across Australia in their bus, named Priscilla. Stephen Soucy was Co-Lead Producer on Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical with Jay Marcus. The production started previews on February 13th and opened February 17th at The Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles, and ran through May 8th, 2018. PQOD won Ovation Awards for Best Musical Intimate Theater, and Best Costume Design.
